A British witness at Kincardine reported watching a “metallic triangle with red and green lights,” according to testimony in Case 89005 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving northbound along M896 toward the Kincardine Bridge at 9:40 p.m. on December 23, 2017.

“We saw a triangular, metallic object approximately 100 to 500 feet in the air with red and green flashing light on it,” the witness stated. “It also had a continuous white light illuminating the undercarriage and a solid red light toward the rear. The object was as clear as day. I am ex-military and I know my aircraft. This was nothing I have ever seen before. It proceeded to follow in my car as my partner was hanging out the window looking at it. As we kept driving, I could see it in my nearside wing mirror as my partner was still looking at it. As we pulled off the motorway and turned to our left, the sky was completely empty. Not a light in the sky apart from the two pylons that were there before.”

British MUFON Field Investigator Karl Webb closed this case as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle.

“A quite stereotypical triangular craft that is becoming more common by the day,” Webb stated in his report. “Having checked this sighting on media search, there unfortunately appears to be no other independent witnesses to this sighting. That said, the witness in this instance has more credibility than most due to him being ex-military particularly in the field that he was in. In addition, we have his partner in the car with him who clearly saw the triangular object also. The craft, based on description alone, was certainly not a known terrestrial craft. That said, we are well into the realms of not easily defining what is our own stealth technology and what is alien. I have always maintained that if our military was going to test a potentially covert craft, why would they do it in a high populous area? That said, disinformation comes in wonderful packages.”

Kincardine is a small town on the north shore of the Firth of Forth, in Fife, Scotland.
